The Engineers at Kansas State University are now working on a research combining biological materials with graphene, a recently developed carbon material that is only a single atom thick, ScienceDaily reported.
They have seen the possibilities of using this thick material as the DNA sensor to identify cancer, in the form of electrical sensor. The researchers are collaborating with researchers from Harvard Medical School to sense cancer cells in blood.
Well, hopefully the research goes on well, so that it really can help the cancer sufferers someday, ya? :)
