Ginkgo, genus of deciduous trees, has been preserved as a sacred tree in Chinese temple gardens since ancient times. The trees are frequently planted in parks and ornamental gardens.
For years, ginkgo biloba mentioned as plants which have special effects to human memory. It is already widely used, readily available, and relatively inexpensive. Recently, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology published a study to find, whether gingko biloba really does affect memory. It said, taking the supplement ginkgo biloba had no clear-cut benefit on the risk of developing memory problems.
