People are very exciting in looking years younger than their age, so they try to avoid skin damages or aging, which is generally caused by sun. There are some very helpful tips for protecting our skin now and in the long term.

What do we need to do to keep the sun from ruining your skin?

  1. Stay out of the sunlight during its peak hours, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. You know, sunscreen is best damaging our skin along this hours. So, arrange your scheduled.
  2. Wear a hat. Well, hat will protecting our face—people’s most important and sensitive part—from sun. Thing we should notice, is to make sure that the hat we choose has a brim wide enough to shade you entire face–forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, and neck.
  3. Wear clothes which will provide sun protection. If you’re someone whose work or outdoor activities force you to be out in the heat of the day, you can find apparel with an SPF rating of 30 and up. The minimum you should do is wear a long sleeved shirt and long pants whenever you are out in the sun.
  4. Use sunscreen. Research has shown that most people use a layer of sunscreen only 20% as thick as it should be to provide maximum protection. So even if you hate the greasy feel and strong scent of sunscreen, you will have to slather it on. Sunscreen should first be applied between fifteen and thirty minutes before you go outside, and again fifteen to thirty minutes after. You should also reapply it after swimming, toweling off, or participating in any activities which cause heavy perspiration.

Ok then, they are the suggestion, don’t forget to bring hats, sunscreen, and wear clothes with sun protection. Stay health! :-P
