New Invention of Cellulite Patches
Though most dermatologists agree that cellulite is “physiologically normal”, it is still a problem for us. Cellulite does not differ from “normal” fat, it differs only in the way it is held and distributed in the body tissues. The actual chemical nature of the fat is not different from other body fat.
We can see the appearance of cellulite by fat cells protruding from the latticework of fibrous tissue around them. There is a fine meshwork of a restraining net underneath the skin which keeps fat in place.
Alexander Dagum, a plastic surgeon at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York state, US, says cellulite can be reduced by injecting infected areas with collagenase, an enzyme that digests collagen. The treatment can be given either by injection or by applying patches every 4 to 6 weeks. In his patent application, Dagum even claims to have tested the treatment on 10 women, reducing the cellulite by over 70%.
What do you think, about this ? Interesting, huh? But I think, that must be quite expensive :-(
