Technology in Colon hydrotherapy
Colon hydrotherapy, also known as colonic irrigation, is a procedure of removal of waste from the large intestine. This is achieved by introduction of filtered and temperature regulated water in the colon. Many people have pre-conceived ideas about Colonic Hydrotherapy and Colonic Irrigation and imagine the worst, whereas it is in fact a colonic treatment which leaves you feeling clean, revitalised and well. The waste in the colon becomes soft and loose and is evacuated by natural peristalsis (muscular contraction).
There are some reasons for opting for Colon Hydrotherapy : 1. Improving metabolic efficiency 2. Due to abdominal pain, continuous headaches, migraines, back or shoulder pain, aching joints, gout 3. Medical reasons like pre- and post-surgery, barium x-ray, stool samples, geriatrics 4. Intestinal distress like constipation, diarrhea, bloat, carbohydrate indigestion, diverticulitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, colitis, inability to lose weight, scar tissue and adhesions, skin conditions like psoriasis, shingles and eczema 5. As a preventive measure or during lifestyle change 6. For emotional problems which are felt to be physiologically rooted in the intestines
Current alternative medicine practitioners recommend this therapy for a variety of ills stemming from accumulation of fecal matter in the large intestine, a process referred to as autointoxication.
What we will get, then? Here they are, the benefit we can get : - Reduction in weight and increase in mental capacity and metabolism - Increased sensation of well-being and relief from inflammation and edema - Gynecological disorders like cystitis and dysmenorrhea are relieved. Also risk of complications after surgery is reduced as the natural immunity becomes stronger - Pressure on the intra-abdominal area, hips and lumbar column is reduced - Changes the environment from alkaline to acid - There are no lingering effects and after an hour the user is back on his feet
But, there are some controversy and regulation about this therapy. Choose a trained therapist-conducted treatment. The insertion is in expert hands, so the filtered water is at low pressure and there is no danger of perforation. All equipment used is either disposable or sterilized using hospital –approved sterilants or regularly serviced autoclaves, so there is virtually no risk of cross-infection. Although large numbers of friendly bacteria are expelled during treatment, they quickly breed back up to strength, and the environment after treatment is usually better than before, thus leading to a better balance.
