Prevent Cancer, Choose Your Right Foods

nce so feared ‘Cancer’ name was whispered, the disease is no longer an inevitable death sentence. Particular dietary practices often explain differences in cancer incidence in different countries, and it have shown that there are a substantial link between diet and cancer. Despite frequent reports of particular substances having a beneficial or detrimental effect on cancer risk, kinds of food have an established link to cancer.

Meat >> Studies of populations with low meat intake versus high levels of meat consumption have shown protection from colon cancer incidence by reduction of colon polyp formation.

Coffee >> Coffee intake of at least two cups per day has been associated with reduced risk of liver cancer. Congratulation, Mr. Koen ;-)

Vegetarian diet >> Diet may have a profound impact on prognosis in patients who have developed cancer. The Journal of Urology published a study demonstrating that a consuming plant based diet and making other lifestyle changes was able to reduce cancer markers in a group of men with prostate cancer using no conventional treatments.

Low-fat diet >> The 2006 San Antonio Breast Conference Reported, in breast cancer patients, a low-fat diet may provide impressive protection from breast cancer recurrence.

Now, we can capture what scientific literatures say about diet and cancer, and we must be exercised to not over-interpret it. Choose your right food!
